Job description

The Business Sales Manager (BSM) manages, directs and supervises assigned sales account managers who primarily sell on customers premises generate existing and/or new sales for delivery of solutions that meet a wide variety of customer needs for ATT wireless products/ services solutions to ensure achievement of both unit and revenue objectives for customers.  The Business Sales Manager will ensure the assigned sales team delivers a first-class customer experience. This Manager will develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and grow existing AT&T customer base.

• Develop and manage performance of Business Account Managers within an assigned market.

• Implement performance metrics and manage activity to drive for desired results.

• Provide development plans for any existing employee skill and identify gaps in order to model effective sales strategies.

• Provide coaching and sales expertise to help your team close sales.

• Cultivate a “Team” environment in order to achieve success for the company.

• Work with the executive leadership team to bring new and exciting industry trends.

• Bring their own ideas to the company in order to adapt to the changing wireless environment, so we may continue to be the leaders in the industry.

• Staff his/her sales team to the assigned headcount for their market.

• Manage and maintain responsibility for all financial, budget, and sales reporting for their market.

• Responsible for coaching and developing direct report subordinates

Essential Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree preferred, or at least 6 years of sales management experience in a commissions-based sales environment with a proven ability to lead a sales team and meet sales quotas.

• Professional leadership and communication skills with the ability to empower and coach a sales team.

• Business planning and proposal writing skills comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Goal and solutions-oriented outgoing, resourceful, and motivated to learn.
