Supply Chain Product Manager

Our premier client is actively seeking a Product Manager for its suite of Supply Chain Management solutions. This person will be responsible for authoring product requirements, managing the product life cycle, participating in marketing and customer facing activities, and leading new product launches. This position requires three to five years of product management or equivalent experience in the enterprise software industry.

Responsibilities

  • Product Life Cycle Management
    • Gathers functional requirements from customers, prospects, partners, sales and services organizations
  • Works closely with the software development organization to define software release priorities and scope
  • “Owns” the overall software release process from inception to general availability
  • Product Positioning
    • Works closely with marketing to develop product collateral, demonstrations and sales tools for the Co’s suite of solutions
  • Commercialization
    • Responsible for the successful launch of new and existing products
  • Manages all product readiness and launch activities including positioning, pricing and packaging, internal education of new product capabilities, and the formal public launch
  • Participates in related marketing activities associated with the product launch

 

  

  • Field Marketing &  Sales Enabling
    • Provides content and guidance in the development of campaigns providing product, market and customer expertise
  • Provides product specific guidance to the sales and services organizations
  • Represents product strategy and roadmap to customers, prospects and partners
  • Technical Thought Leadership
    • Provides direction on how Apptricity can leverage emerging technologies to extend our financial management and supply chain solutions

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Significant experience in software product management, project management, development and/or life cycle management
  • Pragmatic Marketing experience
  • Direct experience developing and managing product requirements following an Agile methodology
  • Ability to team with a wide variety of people in executive management, sales, development and marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing or business related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a product management or equivalent industry positions
  • Permanent Residency Required. U.S. citizenship may be required for security clearance
