Recruiter/HR Generalist

Our premier client is a leading supplier of medical products and services for the care of patients in the home. The primary function of this position is to assist in all administration of the functions of the Human Resources Department and to assist in managing the recruiting process, to include recruiting, interviewing, screening, and referring candidates for job openings.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develops recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
- Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position
- Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization
- Maintains ATS to ensure timely review of applications/resumes, and appropriate correspondence with applicants
- Writes and places job advertising in various media
- Develops and coordinates internet job posting program and writes job postings
- Coordinates participation in, sets up display, and works at job fairs
- Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants
- Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
- Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates, to include approved Social Media outlets
- Creates and maintains job postings on company intranet site
- Provides information on company benefits and job opportunities to potential applicants
- Coordinates communications with applicants
- Manages the testing process of applicants on technical abilities and personality profiling
- Prepares job offers and job offer folders with appropriate documents
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Involved in the on-board processing for all new employees, to include scheduling and delivering New Hire Orientation
- Ensures all employee performance documentation is scanned into employee record in HRIS
- Processes all new hire paperwork and creates appropriate files
- Creates and maintains HR forms/information on company intranet site
- Various reports, such as Organizational Charts, 90-day Surveys, etc.
- Participates in preparation of required data for HR monthly report (i.e.: turnover, new hires, and 90 day trial period report)
- Maintains office supplies
- Miscellaneous projects as assigned by Human Resource Department Management
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of five years Human Resources experience required in a Generalist role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong project management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
