Divisional Vice President, Strategic Relationship Management - Philadelphia, PA

Key Focus: Develop and lead a high performing team that meets or exceeds revenue, asset and retention targets through a growing portfolio of defined contribution plans that align with the ‘Participant First’ mission and meet the needs of the advisors/plan sponsors/trustees. Responsibilities:

  • Create an entrepreneurial business strategy and plan that supports revenue, asset and retention targets
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with financial intermediary partners, plan sponsors, trustees and key JHRPS stakeholders
  • Hire, train and foster a high performing team that provides exceptional support to external partners and their clients
  • Accurate measurement and tracking of individual and team performance
  • New team members hired and effectively onboarded
  • Current development plans for self and direct reports that support consistent progress towards career aspirations

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
  • FINRA licenses (7 and 24), and State Insurance license required
  • 10 + years Retirement or Financial Service industry experience
  • Relationship Management and/or Sales Management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial excellence including hiring, performance management and employee development
  • Extensive experience working with Plan Sponsors, TPAs and Advisors
  • Superior business acumen related to retirement plan products and the competitive landscape
  • Proven ability to develop business strategies that support revenue targets
