Job Description
Our consultants are recruiting nationally for an experienced communicator to join our Executive and Internal Communications team in India to support our Digital Operations organization and overall Global Corporate Internal Communications. Reporting to the Vice President of Executive and Internal Communications, this role works closely with senior leaders, chiefs of staff and global communication team members to engage and inform employees through a comprehensive communications strategy. Responsibilities include developing and implementing communication strategy aligned with Digital Operations and Global Executive and Internal Communications priorities, including key messages, communications, presentations, all hands/town halls, intranet, video, executive speaking engagements and more. This position will also be responsible for developing thought leadership content to amplify executives’ external profiles.
Required schedule availability for this position is generally Monday-Friday 8 to 5 p.m.; however, this position supports an executive who is based in the US and will require some flexibility to be available during US working hours as needed. The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend’s basis business requirement.
Responsibilities might include:
· Partners with and counsels senior leadership in Digital Operations and other departments, as required, on developing communication strategies and objectives.
· Leads large scale projects and guides others on cross-functional projects outside of their own department.
· Adjusts communications and materials to respond to changing business demands and expectations.
· Regularly mentors, coaches and assists less experienced team members.
· Ability to work some evening hours to communicate with the US
· Ability to develop thought leadership content to help raise external profiles of EVP of Digital Operations
Skills Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications with minimum 15 years communications experience
· Ability to provide strategic communications counsel to senior leadership
· Excellent communication skills (writing, editing, presentation, video, web, etc.) Advanced knowledge and experience of business and communications strategy, concepts tools and techniques. This includes proficiency with communication technologies such as email design and metric software, SharePoint Communication Sites, Yammer/internal social media platforms, video creation, webinar/virtual conferencing logistics, planning and management, PowerPoint, MS office software, etc.)
· Expert organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage to multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Preferred skills and experience:
· Ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively with senior leadership
· IT industry experience a plus
· Experience with employee engagement programs
