Vice President, Investments

Join our premier client’s investments team as Vice President of Investments to help manage and guide our industry-leading investment initiatives. You have keen skills in real estate, development, acquisitions, financial modeling, and technology, along with the ability to lead through influence and communicate with an executive team.

What You Will Do:
Drive management processes internally for the investments group to ensure timely and accurate review and decision-making.

  • Time-sensitive acuity to maintain a transaction-level relationship while understanding the key economic drivers and manage value maximization resolve for the Company.

  • Build better systems for tracking projects, contacts, and information across the organization for real estate investment optimization.

  • Oversight of outcomes from development and asset models to support the company acquisitions, financings (joint-venture, equity initiatives, etc.), land, asset, and operating company acquisitions/dispositions.

  • Assist in managing projects from identification through completion, including coordination of due diligence teams and financial underwriting.

  • Research market data and costs information to drive the most meaningful decision analytics for senior management.

  • Project management of financial items through these transactions:

    • Present succinct findings in an executed, summary-level that drives value and Executive decision-making.

    • Management of P&L to closing documents.

    • Cross-team coordination, both pre- and post-closing.
      What You Will Need to be Successful:
      Bachelor’s degree preferably with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.

  • 15+ years of working experience in a collaborative financial environment (banking, real estate, etc.) focused on driving bottom line value-creation through strategic thinking in a time-sensitive manner.

  • Solid proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Solid experience creating financial models using WACC, NPV, IRR and ROI.

  • Optimistic and resourceful problem solver
    Great to Have:
    Master of Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Experience with Workday, Salesforce, Adaptive Insights and Office Cx.

  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth Data Center markets.

  • ARGUS Enterprise experience preferred.

  • Experience providing financial and analytical support to a development organization.
