Data Architect II - TN location USA
Job Description
The Data Architect II is responsible for establishing the direction for the data architecture, standards, design and implementation approaches for the company’s database systems and/or infrastructure focused on business intelligence initiatives. They will create, evaluate and implement dashboards, reports and prepare data for analysis with all key stakeholder in the organization. They will also lead or contribute to designs applied to all aspects of business systems and/or infrastructure prototypes and eventual implementation and engage in performance/integration testing, problem analysis, business and technical analysis.
Designs and implements database structures to support business intelligence initiatives using Oracle database technology.
Conceives and develops a wide range of dashboard, repository, reports, iBots and BI publisher solutions utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) software.
Experienced in data analysis and visualization projects utilizing Tableau and other visualization software.
Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses.
Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the architecture used across multiple products or systems.
Responsible for scope related decisions and draws conclusions related to the design needs during program initiation and provides oversight and input into the design phases.
May provide input and direction on projects.
Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum
10 years of related experience
Bachelors Degree in related field
Preferred
Masters Degree
8 or more years of Oracle technology related experience.
8 or more years Oracle Business Intelligence related experience
3 or more years experience with Tableau or other data visualization software.
