Technical Asset Manager IV - Dallas, TX USA

The Technical Asset Manager manages the aftermarket aircraft and powerplant segments including commercial and operational aspects. Also, works closely with aircraft leasing and fleet management for the Commercial Engines organization. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Highly responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages extensive operations in aircraft maintenance and / or teardown activity.

  • Performs steps to initiate, negotiate and maintain leasing agreements, and oversee operations, deliveries and aircraft transitions including financing thereof.

  • Follows protocols for obtaining and managing licenses including obtaining management approvals.

  • Maintains aircraft and / or engine records and performs audits.

  • Builds and manages relationships with 3rd party technical service providers including OEMs, MROs, engine shops, and aviation authorities.

  • Assembles project team, assigns individual responsibilities, and identifying appropriate resources needed.

  • Develops schedules to ensure timely completion of project.

  • Manages asset sales campaigns.

  • May lead, instruct, or direct the work of others.

  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization.

  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

  • Very knowledgeable of the job and/or industry.

    Minimum Requirements

    Education Requirement: Bachelors Degree in related field.

    Preferred: 3+ years direct aftermarket airframe or powerplant related experience

    Travel: Up to 25%
