Vice President of Product Management - Patient Experience
Austin, TX
We are looking for a Vice President of Product Management for Patient Experience to join our Patient Experience team within our Product Management division. Your job will be to drive product vision and roadmap planning; make buy, build, partner decisions; ensure client engagement and research that supports customer success; and own resource allocation, including collaboration on Engineering allocations.
Ability to translate the overall objectives of the organization into actionable, quantitative plans and Passion for improving the patient’s experience with our healthcare system
The Team: Our Patient Experience team is the overall leader for the product and service offerings that help our physicians better engage with their patients outside of the exam room. This includes our traditional Communicator and Scheduling offerings and will include new offerings for patient check-in, patient engagement, and patient payment.
Job Responsibilities
Create and maintain our internal and external roadmaps for Patient Experience
Leverage insights and feedback from clients, prospects and internal partners and make/communicate the necessary tradeoffs to build an excellent offering
Lead, inspire, and grow a team of athenistas, modeling effective relationship building, ensuring high employee engagement and managing staff career progression
Ensure continued development of product management team by implementing solutions for learning and teaching
Typical Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; Degree (Bachelor’s or Masters) in Computer Science, Business, or Product Design preferred
Understanding of healthcare/health IT environment and experience leading teams and managing managers
15+ years relevant product experience with proven track record of successfully defining and delivering complex software products through the entire product lifecycle
Ability to work effectively with enterprise clients and understand how they work and think; craft approaches that are effective for important external stakeholders.
