VP Talent Acquisition

Washington, DC Remote 

What You'll Do
Strategy - Develop and execute tailored recruiting strategies to source, evaluate, and select candidates for open positions across the company; Collaborate closely with each hiring manager to thoroughly understand requirements for each role

  • Source - Ensure recruiters identify promising recruiting sources and conduct outreach to promising candidates

  • Manage Recruiters - Identify and manage a team of staff and contract recruiters tailored for each role type

  • Compliance - Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies

  • Onboarding - Partner with HR and recruiters to ensure a "red carpet" onboarding experience for new hires

What You'll Need

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience preferred

  • 7+ years of experience as a manager preferred

  • Experience with a media organization is preferred

  • Experience managing an Applicant Tracking Systems (we currently use Greenhouse)

  • Deep understanding of candidate sourcing strategies and techniques

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state hiring laws

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Positive, can-do attitude
