The Chief Operating Officer (COO) provides vision, leadership, engagement and organizational direction and management its clinical service programs, departments, and functions. This position ensures strategies within areas of accountability are in alignment with the ASL Strategic Plan and imperatives. The COO is engaged in and accountable for leadership and management of the functions assigned under the direction of the President, and acts as a surrogate leader in the absence of the President.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in related field preferred, with related background and work experience required.

• Proven leadership experience in a senior management role within the nonprofit or healthcare sector.

• Possess skills related to leadership and management; strong people skills.

• Strong financial management skills, including budget development and fundraising experience.

• Culturally knowledgeable and sensitive; able to work with diverse staff and clientele. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in both internal and external practices.

This CEO candidate should have tech-enabled, customer-centric services industry experience to lead the company’s development and expansion. The CEO will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the business as well as seeing through a vision for success. This person must bring a hands-on approach in establishing key analytics and performance drivers in a fast-paced and high-growth business. Similarly, this person will hone relationships with proven practitioners, provide oversight in the build of our business model, and participate in our broader efforts to educate patient and medical communities on the efficacy of our solution.
