The Digital Media Manager contributes to organizations mission by helping the Director of Communications in requested areas of social media, communications, and digital innovation strategies. In this role, your main focus will be assisting in the development and creation of social media content for the foundation and its business lines.

The objective in this critical role is to ensure that the organization remains on the cutting-edge in communicating news, events, and trends via social media, as well as thoughtful stewardship of overall media image.

As a primary area of contribution, the individual in this role will manage specific areas of social media and digital efforts, undertaking sole leadership responsibility over various projects, including creating original content for social platforms as well as engaging with followers, staff and the public on poignant, topical news. The Digital Media Manager will be the social media liason for major campaigns and communication efforts.

Leads the technology team in the ongoing deployment and advancement of systems

  • Support the delivery of ministry and revenue growth objectives through website and Customer Service channels.

  • Utilizes systems which include Analytics, Test & Target, Campaign (email), Audience Manager (segmentation), Ad Cloud/Media Optimizer (Advertising), Conductor (SEO), etc.

  • Collaborates with and supports the Directors of eCommerce, .com Marketing, and Customer Service in achieving annual growth objectives for their respective channels

  • Ensure consistently improving team performance by developing and implementing individualized professional growth plans

  • Maintain a marketing technology road map encompassing the systems & tools in which .com is currently invested

  • Elevate Division awareness of Digital Marketing capabilities and advancements through regular training

You will need to have a high level of creativity, ability to incorporate constructive feedback, and finely-honed writing and communications skills with the ability to identify, and then focus on achieving key goals in order to develop communications ‘voice,’ including our online, digital identity.

The Digital Media Manager will also assist the organizations team by supporting several key marketing, communications and branding initiatives. In this role, the Digital Media Manager will also enhance communication by working closely with the marketing and global advocacy teams to infuse continuity and clarity into all social communications and activations to maintain a consistent ‘voice’ and position by enforcing the verbal and visual narrative and identity.

The Communications team will be enhanced by Digital Media Manager’s innovation on programs and experience, which builds the organizations presence. This role will also help team members, and external stakeholders understanding of programs, projects and positions across multiple business lines.

Requirements

Undergraduate Degree. Five (5) years or more of related experience required.

  • Master's degree (preferred) in marketing, communications, or eCommerce

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in eCommerce, $20M+ channel marketing/analytics, and leadership of people and projects

  • Non Profit and or Retail digital marketing background strongly preferred

  • Experience in the multi-channel organization preferred

  • B2B required - B2C preferred
