Position Summary
The Human Resources Director will drive a performance-oriented organization, providing strategic human resources support with a focus on people development and culture. The successful candidate will serve as a member of the HR Leadership Team. They will partner with C-suite executives, directors, and people managers (globally) to provide sound coaching, help manage talent, provide employee advocacy, and facilitate change. They will create and articulate a human resources/leadership vision, helping set priorities and allocating resources. They will actively participate on cross-functional teams and contribute to the company achieving business, strategic, and operational goals. The Human Resources Director will also play a key role in developing a robust organizational culture. This role will require both domestic and international travel to key countries and sites.
Major Responsibility Areas (MRAs)
Working closely with senior management team to ensure stability, productivity and profitability of the business serving as a business partner to senior business leaders in creating and developing effective HR strategies and programs.
Acting as a leader and coach on questions of strategy formulation, staffing, people development, compensation, organizational design etc.
Identifying and establishing relationships with key clients and stakeholders across the corporate functions.
Developing a network of HR and business relationships to facilitate knowledge sharing, transfer, and completion of key deliverables.
Working as a key HR team member to define vision and develop strategy around future talent management needs.
Working collaboratively with HRLT to support programs and practices that allow the company to attract "top talent" in a cost effective and timely manner.
Supporting change management initiatives and acting as a change agent to drive business results, including process improvement, organizational design, and realignment.
Coaching managers to improve employee performance by utilizing effective coaching techniques.
Ideal Experience
10+ years of generalist HR experience in senior leadership roles.
Track record of leading change management initiatives of successful transformation.
Prior experience in managing change within large and complex organizations.
Proven track record in achieving the corporate goals of growth, and successful Human Resource strategy planning, strategy implementation, work force planning and management.
Knowledge, Business Sense and Communication Skill
In-depth knowledge of Human Resources disciplines, including Staffing, Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Development, Training & Development, and Internal Communications.
Strong business sense: willing to understand and learn more about the business, travel domestically and overseas, and demonstrate an ability to balance hands-on involvement and strategic thinking.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and all-round personality are essential for success in the role.
